The Cibodas – Kayagata Sati

After spending many years learning about Buddhism’s “Way of Life”, The owner of The Cibodas, decided to build a retreat centre for the Buddhist community. With the collaboration of both the owner and the architect, Kayagata Sati Retreat Centre was established in 2006. This centre is dedicated for the Buddhist community in the full spirit of understanding Buddhism’s “Way of Life”. The operational cost for running and maintaining the centre is fully funded by the owner as it is the part of the Buddhist spirit. The Cibodas – The Nest 3

Mater Bedroom
The suite, which belongs to the owners, occupies a huge space filled with first grade solid wood furniture. The parquet floor was varnished with solid Merbau wood with polyurethane lack. The furnitures were made solid rare Sonokeling wood. The cozy lounge corner with exquisite designed writing desk bring a new meaning to the resort experience.
This master suite is carefully designed to create warm but organized atmosphere, starting from the bedroom, lounge, till the bathroom.

The most interesting villa of The Cibodas resort compound belongs to the owner, where the family occupy during their stay. This is indeed the most luxurious part of the whole resort. It has three spacious bedrooms, meditation chamber, kitchen, storage room, indoor garage, as well as several balconies with incredible sight. The Cibodas – Joglo 3

The Joglo III is another building in The Cibodas. The building build right by the side of the swimming pool. The rare “Soko Guru” sit in the middle of the building, this is the main support construction. The “Tumpang Sari” at the top of Soko Guru fully carved and real antique collection from the owner. This building has a various feature, like simple spa, pantry area and function room. You can enjoy your massage or jump into the extra huge whirlpool made from natural stone covered with nice mosaic tiles. In the second part of The Cibodas called Joglo 2, the name come from the building model reference from Javanese traditional house in the past. Here we can see the main entrance to the 2nd compound from the parking area. The entrance gate is very unique collector items from the owner, took from antique East Javanese house, named “Gebyok”, near by is a volcanic stone statue from Trowulan (east Java area).
